About Run
Run by hugging is the author, artist, and webmistress of Magnetic North. Hailing from California, she spent the better part of her high school summers loitering around the town totem pole with friends Steve-Roy and Sheik Lloyd, obsessing over anime and getting the f*ck out of town while declaring her love for pie. She is very definitely a pottymouth.
Her loves include anime, webcomics, manga, writing, reading, unnatural hair colors, and her demonic cat-child Alastair, who when not mongering for love and food, makes sure Run keeps on track.

About MagNorth
Magnetic North is the brainchild of Run and two old friends, Steve-Roy and Sheik Lloyd. Originally designed to be the home-movie lovechild of Monty Python and Kevin Smith during the summer to kill time, the original incarnation, "Yo: The story of one Kwaaaaazy summer" never got past a few script ideas, cast list, and the sad realization that summer jobs, while monetarily beneficial, suck as hard as summer school.
Two years later, Run ran across the old "script" while digging through old story boxes looking for something to start a webcomic with. Within another year, Magnetic North in its final and current inception was born on the internet on March 9, 2005. Very little remains of the original idea dreamed up by the trio over summer vacation in 2001. Steve, Roy, and Jugs carried over, although Jugs has more of a name than she originally did, and while the story takes place in a small pissant town gravitating around the magnetic center of the universe, the story has nothing to do with Yo, save Steve's job and fear of pirates, and the terrorists. But they weren't originally Russian. And were more rogue dumbasses than rogue military.
In a nutshell, Magnetic North is a story about learning to cope with the world and find your place in life while surviving in a small town. For the truth of it though, dig through the archives and stick around a few more chapters.
